Monokote®  sealing iron is used for heat sealing appliqué fabric down.
The Top Flite®  Monokote®  sealing iron has a coated, non-stick ironing shoe. The small shoe promotes smooth, easy use and prevents scratching and hazing. It is ideal for reaching up and over embroidery hoops to heat seal appliqué fabrics prior to running your tack down stitches. The small tapered point allows ironing in small spaces. Includes a 5.5’ AC power cord and lightweight metal tool stand to keep this compact iron handy while keeping your work surfaces protected.

Please note:

Always test on scrap material with the lowest temperature and time. Increase heat temperature and setting time as needed to achieve optimum results.  For best results, check the manufacturer’s heat-activated seal setting prior to use.  Some initial smoke and/or an odor may occur during the initial “break-in” use of this this product. This is normal as there may be some residual oil left over from the machining process. Never leave this product on while unattended.
