Steps:
The project uses 8" blocks, so cut the length of the main fabric in 8" widths. Position each of the 8" strips on the cutting mat and cut at 8" again. You will now have 8" blocks. Place the trim fabric on the cutting mat and cut into 3" strips. With right sides together, stitch the strips to the squares. Place five squares across for each row. The four quilt corner designs use the text for the A-B-C Song. Place those designs in the appropriate corners. Place the backing fabric on the work surface wrong side up. Cover the back with quilt batting. The back fabric should be larger than the quilt top. The batting should extend all the way out to the edge of the top. Fold the edge of the quilt back twice and pin securely to the quilt top. Stitch close to the edge of the turned up quilt back.
