Steps:
  1. Cut the dieline paper down close to the template of each of the papers. Use a light temporary spray adhesive and spray on the back of your paper templates. Place each paper template onto your applique fabric pieces.
  2. Cut a piece of Ultra Solvy that is a little larger than your hoop.
  3. Hoop Solvy, making sure that it is hooped very tightly.
  4. Place hoop onto your machine and embroider the lace thong design of your choice.
  5. Once the design is done embroidering. Remove from the machine and gently remove the excess solvy from around the outside of the design.
  6. Then add hot/warm water to your container. The water should be high enough in the bowl so that the entire lace thong will be submerged.
  7. Place your lace design inside the container. Let the design soak for about 10 – 15 minutes. This will remove the solvy from the design.
  8. Remove the design from the water and blot dry with the paper towel. Let it dry.

  • FSL Thong design & Wine Coaster Designs of your choice
  • 2 pieces of Tearaway backing per design
  • 2 Pieces of applique fabric (we used twill)
  • 2 Pieces of paper for the dieline printouts
  • Thread & Bobbin Thread (same color)
  • Ultra Solvy – Thick Water Soluble Stabilizer
  • Sharp 11 Needle
  • Spray Adhesive
  • Bowl & Water
  • Paper Towels
  • Scissors
  • Tape
