FSL 3D Emporium

This project pack from Pat Williams gives result to a beautiful 3D Emporium.

It is done in colored thread which gives an illuminated look.

Uses two layers of fibrous water soluble stabilizer for all hoopings.

Lovely for Xmas with the Tea Lights in them.

1. Fat Quarter of 100% cotton in a used brick color. Moda’s Grunge Basics fabric was used in the sample
2. 6” strip of yellow organza.
3. Fat Quarter of 100% grey fabric for Roof tops. A grey from Moda’s Modern Rose collection was used in the SAMPLE.
4. Small scrap of white for the side sign.
5. Small scrap of tan fabric for the front sign.
6. 1 package of small red pre-tied bows – those in the sample are called A Tree for Me! In the miniature tree decoration section of Hobby Lobby
7. Flameless tea light
8. 5.5 yards of fibrous water soluble stabilizer such as Wet N’ Gone
9. ½ yard of Pellon Craft Fuse 808 stabilizer
10. Polyester embroidery thread in grey, green and red
11. 8 pre-wound embroidery bobbins in grey – or 60 weight thread to match your grey embroidery thread
12. 5” x7” embroidery hoop
13. Spray Adhesive
14. Magic Sizing or Best Press
15. Awl
16. Sharp tweezers
17. Tacky Glue
18. Hand sewing needle

1. It is recommended to purchase pre-wound bobbins in the color you will be sewing the lace portion of this emporium.
2. Using regular 40 wt. embroidery thread to wind the bobbins will result in a lace that is too thick.
3. Rayon is too soft for this type of work.
